You can obtain Outlook Express when you download Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater and it also comes installed with Windows 98.

After you either install IE or get Windows 98 running properly you need to configure Outlook Express to work with your web hosting acount(s). To do this you simply run Outlook Express. If it is the first time it will automatically run you through the setup process. If you already have it installed and would like to add your pop e-mail acount, follow these steps to get it working correctly.

You will then be prompted with the following dialog box:

From here is where you edit your present e-mail acounts and add any new ones. To add a new one click on the Add button.

You will then be prompted with the "Internet Connection Wizard" which will guide you through the rest of the steps.

Enter your name as you would like it to appear on outgoing messages.

Your e-mail address: Here you want to type in the e-mail address that you want your recipients to see and to reply to.

Settings for sending & retrieving mail:

1. Server Type: POP3
2. POP3 Host: yourdomain.com
3. SMTP Host: yourdomain.com

Settings for Loging into your e-mail:

1. User Name: your login goes here. ie; abc1234
   
2. Password: make sure this matches what is on your web space confirmation.

Click on finish and you are done!
